New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been playing with Tom Brady for nine years now, and it's still just as much for him now as it was during his rookie season back in 2010.

What makes playing with Brady so enjoyable? Oddly enough, it's Brady taking the game so seriously:

“It’s a lot of fun,” Gronkowski said Thursday, according to Zack Cox of NESN. “The guy is just so precise with everything. Just the way he is out on the field, the way he prepares, the way he goes into these games. You know every single time, you’re going to get the best out of him no matter what the situations are, and that’s what’s so great about playing with him.”

Gronkowski caught six passes for 79 yards during the Patriots' win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game last Sunday, including a couple of gigantic catches in the fourth quarter and overtime to set up New England touchdowns.

“It makes football the best it can possibly be, because you know you’ve got a guy that knows basically every situation, and he’s going to put us in the best situations every single time he steps out on the field to put us with a chance to win, every game we play,” added Gronkowski.

The 29-year-old also said that it felt good to be such a huge part of the offense against the Chiefs after catching just one pass against the Los Angeles Chargers the week before:

“That feels good,” Gronkowski said. “We’ve always had that (connection). I mean, you know, there’s always situations where you’re just not going to get the ball. There’s times where the coverage is different, and Tom just always reads all of his reads. It just happens to be that there were a couple more reads to go to me (on Sunday).”
