The New England Patriots could be shorthanded on Sunday night football with tight end Rob Gronkowski and running back Sony Michel being game-time decisions according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Patriots will test TE Rob Gronkowski (back) and RB Sony Michel (knee) pregame, but there is concern about whether both players listed as questionable will be able to play tonight vs Packers, per sources.

Gronkowski is dealing with a back injury and if he's not able to go Dwayne Allen would be the guy who would step up to take his snaps.
If Michel can't go look for the Patriots to deploy the platoon of running backs that Bill Belichick seems to lean on. Last week it was wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson who got the start rushing ten times for 38 yards. Patterson said after last weeks game that whenever his number is called he will be ready and he would like to get even more carries in this game.
“When my number’s called, I’ll be ready, and Josh did a hell of a job putting me back there and showing trust in me,” said Patterson via The Boston Globe. “Next time I hope I’ll get like 25 carries.”
Running back coach Ivy Fears said Patterson is putting in the extra work and has been a pleasure to work with.
“No doubt about it, [he’ll] put the extra work in,” Fears said. “We’ll say, ‘Hey, won’t you stay after practice for a few more reps?’ No problem. You know what I mean? No problem. It’s a lot easier [coaching someone like that], a lot more fun, too.”
