New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady came out on top in an exciting 43-40 shootout on Sunday night to hand Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs their first defeat of the season.

That win also has some extra significance for Brady, who became the first quarterback in NFL history to reach 200 career regular-season wins.

Brady, who has a career regular-season record of 200-57, is already far and away the winningest quarterback in NFL history. Brett Favre and Peyton Manning, the two QBs who are even within striking distance of Brady in this category, each had 186 regular-season wins in their Hall of Fame careers.

Aside from his unrivaled regular-season success, Brady has also picked up a few more wins in the postseason en route to his five Super Bowl championships.

It's truly a remarkable achievement for Brady, who even at 41 years old, is still playing at a very high level. He just continues to make the plays the Patriots need in order to rack up the victories.

After a somewhat rocky start to the season, Brady and the Patriots have now won three games in a row and look well on course toward another double-digit win season. And the incredible part is that it doesn't seem like he's anywhere close to done.

If he follows through with his plan to play into his mid-40s, he could very well end up separating himself even more from Favre and Manning in terms of regular-season wins when he finally decides to call it a career.
