The New England Patriots announced on Wednesday that they will be turning back the clock in 2022. They will be using their throwback red uniforms with the old Patriots helmet and logo for select 2022 games. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady took to Twitter to share his reaction, and it's pretty hilarious.

Brady used a scene from Jim Carrey's 1997 film “Liar Liar.” In the scene, Carrey's character, Fletcher Reede, is a lawyer in a courtroom drinking water while listening to a video tape of an affair. He spits the water out and screams “Oh, come on.” Apparently, that's exactly how Tom Brady feels about it.
The Patriots used the red uniforms with the old logo of a revolutionary patriot snapping the football in the early years of the franchise. That includes their first ever Super Bowl appearance in 1986 against the Chicago Bears. That did no go well for New England though. They eventually changed it up in the 1990's but once again lost the Super Bowl, this time in 1997 to the Green Bay Packers.
It wasn't until Tom Brady arrived in New England would the Patriots find the ultimate success. Brady would go on to win six Super Bowls in New England. The six titles ironically do not even include the best team he ever played for. That was the 2007 New England Patriots. That team became the first in NFL history to win their first 18 games in a season. However, they would lose the Super Bowl to the New York Giants 17-14 in one of the greatest upsets in American sports history.
