In the last several months, the outside perspective of the New England Patriots has shifted a bit around the relationship between star quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick.
This has led to many questions concerning their vision and outlook for the franchise that Brady is hoping to be a part of for the next few seasons. Although Belichick has continued to sidestep questions about his and the reigning league MVP's bond, the 41-year-old has voiced that he shares the same “priorities” that his head coach has for the franchise with the mindset being directed solely toward winning, via Mike Reiss of ESPN)

We're here to win,” Brady said Tuesday morning in his weekly interview on sports radio WEEI. “It's been a very professional environment he's created, and I think I'm very lucky to be in that environment. I think he's the best coach who ever coached in the NFL, and I feel very privileged to kind of be mentored by him as long as I have.”
There is a great deal of respect from Brady that holds Belichick in high esteem as being the best head coach in league history. The two have lifted the franchise to its highest heights together that is highlighted by winning five Super Bowls along the way.
Meanwhile, the focus has been on Belichick's handling of the situation that shows that there may have been a preference to move on from Brady eventually. There had been the expectation that this process would have had Jimmy Garoppolo under center as the future of the franchise, but things have shifted with four-time Super Bowl MVP still playing at an elite level heading into his 19th season.
All of this ultimately hinges on the Patriots continuing to have success with Brady at the helm of the offense. If things were to change in that manner, it could lead to some significant changes.
