This might be yet another memorable season for the New England Patriots, a team that entered Week 1 of the 2019 regular season as the defending Super Bowl champions. With an embarrassment of riches on the team's roster, especially on the offensive side of the football, the Patriots are already off and running against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Wasting absolutely no time on Sunday evening in New England, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady almost immediately connected with former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon, who scored the team's first touchdown of the season in the first quarter. With the Patriots taking a quick 7-0 lead, Gordon managed to briefly take matters into his own hands to successfully cross the goal line.

Of course, the 42-year-old Brady still runs the show for the heralded Patriots, who have infamously won two of the last three and three of the last five Super Bowls. Giving the seemingly ageless signal-caller a litany of weapons on offense, the Patriots are currently housing the likes of Gordon, Antonio Brown, Demaryius Thomas, Julian Edelman and injured rookie N'Keal Harry at wide receiver to coincide with the running back tandem of James White and Sony Michel in the backfield.
Although there is only one football on the field, Brady will surely lead this team in the right direction sooner rather than later. There are too many options for Brady to choose from for the Patriots to fail this time around — especially with the AFC East division once again looking pretty weak.
