New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman followed in the footsteps of head coach Bill Belichick by sending a message of support on Twitter.

Edelman spoke about the importance of remaining indoors after Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker issued a stay-at-home order in response to the coronavirus pandemic, and he also suggested the people in Boston have overcome greater hardships in the past.

Though the NFL league year has proceeded according to schedule and the 2020 NFL Draft will be held on time, the spread of coronavirus might impact things such as OTAs and other workouts, and that could subsequently impact the timeline for the regular season.

As such, it seems some NFL personnel, including Edelman, have been more adamant about getting the message out and encouraging common citizens to do whatever they can to ensure their own health, which in turn should help curb the spread.
