The New England Patriots have been in this position before. Not only did the Patriots tie the Pittsburgh Steelers' league record by winning the franchise's sixth Super Bowl on Sunday, but they also won their third ring in five seasons, an unprecedented run of success that lends credence to the notion of this team's status as an all-time dynasty.

It's not exactly surprising, then, that some of New England's older, more seasoned players would celebrate winning Super Bowl LIII differently than their younger teammates.

Where were Tom Brady and Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman less than 24 hours after beating the Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta?

At Disney World in Orlando, FL, of course.

Brady and Edelman, along with rookie running back Sony Michel, provided the only means of consistent offense in a defense-first Super Bowl that non-Patriots fans would soon rather forget.

The 41-year-old signal-caller was hardly at his best against Los Angeles, completing 60 percent of his throws for 262 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception, but still fared far better than counterpart Jared Goff despite finally facing some pressure in the pocket.

Edelman played a huge role as Brady's safety blanket, though, catching 10 of his 12 targets en route to 141 yards receiving, more than half of the total amount of yards the Rams managed overall.

It remains to be seen how Brady and Edelman will celebrate their most recent Super Bowl triumph going forward.

Safety Duron Harmon has already said he won't be visiting the White House, and multiple players are likely to follow suit. Brady, who's received criticism over the last several years for his friendship with President Donald Trump, didn't attend the celebratory White House ceremony in 2017, citing “personal family matters.”

Edelman led the Patriots' contingent instead, along with superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski and owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick.

For now, though? Fun times at Magic Kingdom!
