These are the types of stories that we just love to hear about. New Orleans Saints star defensive end Cameron Jordan recently gifted two Super Bowl 52 tickets to 108-year-old World War II veteran Lawrence Brooks.
According to a story covered by WGNO, the Walter Payton Man of the Year award finalist surprised the longtime New Orleans veteran and Saints fan with an extraordinary gift to this year's big game at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis between the defending-champion New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles.
“I just thought I’d say thank you for everything you do, your military service back in your younger days. I appreciate everything you do,” Jordan said to Brooks.

It's unfortunate that Brooks will not be able to watch his Saints in this year's Super Bowl, but it will certainly be an experience like no other for the World War II veteran. This was quite an awesome gesture by Jordan and much respect goes out to both of these great men.
It was revealed by WGNO that Brooks was a Private 1st Class during the war and then worked as a forklift operator before his retirement back in 1974. Brooks and his wife, who has since passed away, had to be rescued from the roof of their house back in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina slammed into the coast of southern Louisiana.
Super Bowl 52 between the Pats and Eagles while featuring Lawrence Brooks in the stands is slated for Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018.
