The New Orleans Saints will be looking to bounce back in 2022 after an injury-riddled 2021 campaign where they were forced to use four different quarterbacks. QB1 Jameis Winston missed the final 10 games after tearing his ACL, but he will be the one likely running the offense as Taysom Hill transitions to playing mostly tight end.

While Winston did struggle at times last season, franchise legend Drew Brees believes the Saints have set him up for success with the way they've built their team.

“I think it’s set up for success with Jameis,” Brees said. “I think you continue to build pieces around him that will help him be successful. I think the defensive side of the ball has incredible leadership and has been playing at a really high level for the last few years.”

The Saints offense finished 28th in the NFL in what was a very poor year when it came to actually scoring points. They're also heading into a brand new era after the retirement of Sean Payton, with Dennis Allen now taking over as head coach.

The Saints still managed to finish just above .500 in 21′ with a 9-8 record, but that came down to their stellar defense. Winston meanwhile, threw for 14 touchdowns and three interceptions in seven games last season, but he had a completion percentage of just 59. He'll be looking to come into training camp and make an immediate impact. If Drew Brees believes in him, you'd have to believe New Orleans is hopeful the signal-caller can lead the Saints back to the postseason as well.
