New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has a major decision to make this offseason: will he return, or will he decide to hang up his cleats?

Regardless of what he does, it's looking more and more like Taysom Hill will have a much larger role within the Saints' offense next season, and Brees is all for that.

“If I'm back, and Taysom's along side me, call the plays that put us in the best position to win,” said Brees, according to Chris Simms of NBC Sports. “If that means Taysom Hill is taking 30 snaps a game, 25 snaps a game, so be it. I'm all for that.”

Rumors surfaced recently that New Orleans actually views Hill as its quarterback of the future, which is a bit peculiar given that Hill has only thrown 13 passes in his NFL career and has been featured more as a rusher and receiver than a threat under center.

However, with Teddy Bridgewater set to hit free agency, the Saints may have no choice but to rely on Hill for the long haul, although you would have to think re-signing Bridgewater would be a priority if Brees does decide to call it quits.

Brees was limited to 11 games this season due to a thumb injury, but when he was on the field, he was terrific, throwing for 2,979 yards, 27 touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 74.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 116.3 en route to his 13th Pro Bowl appearance.

However, the Saints fell to the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
