Just days after the New Orleans Saints spanked Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, they're now dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak within their offensive coaching staff. However, it's not expected to be serious. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter:
Saints have had a “handful of offensive coaches” test positive for COVID, calling into question their status for Sunday’s game vs. Carolina, per source. But as one Saints’ source said, “We’ll be just fine.”

While this is far from ideal, at least there are no Saints players who have the virus. New Orleans will be looking to build off their 38-3 victory where Jameis Winston dazzled, completing 14 of 20 attempts for 120 yards while also throwing five TD's. Tight end Juwan Johnson ultimately caught two of them on the day.

But, the team clearly has an idea of what they want to do, especially after Winston just put up numbers like that. It's not like the Carolina Panthers are a superior opponent, anyway.
In order for any of these coaches to actually be available for Sunday's contest, they will have to provide two negative tests in a row. As of mid-June, 85% of the Saints' organization were vaccinated. Considering it's now September, you'd have to believe that almost every single member has now received both doses but with the Delta Variant still floating around the US, it's not exactly a surprise that some positive tests have shown up.
