New Orleans Saints superstar Drew Brees made history in Week 15 after breaking Peyton Manning's mark for most passing touchdowns in NFL history. Current and former NFL stars have since made sure to congratulate him on becoming the most decorated passer of all time.
Even Houston Texans quarterback was among those to pay homage to his accomplishment, via Yahoo Sports:
“Drew Brees, man, I just want to go ahead and congratulate,” Watson said. “You inspire me, the whole league, not just as a quarterback, but as a human being and as a father and as a man. I really appreciate you and you have a true fan, a true brother here. So, I appreciate you. Congratulations.”
Watson added that his ability to play at such a high level for this long is a testament to his longevity.

“It’s crazy to think — correct me if I’m wrong — that he’s never had an MVP, which is very mind-blowing. I think he probably had a Super Bowl MVP, but never a regular-season MVP. I mean, it’s just mind-blowing to even think that, but also just the numbers and the stats and the things he’s doing.”
There is certainly plenty of truth to Watson's comments. Brees has continued to combat Father Time by seeming ging like a fine wine. Aside from breaking Manning's record, he did it in spectacular fashion by breaking the record for completing percentage after connecting on all but one of his 30 attempts.
Although Brees may not have a league MVP in his trophy case, it is safe to say that he is focused on adding another super Bowl ring at this point in his career.
