The New York Giants took just 11 shots downfield in their 29-3 road loss to the Chicago Bears, and none of those had more mileage than the one taken by Joe Judge at the Washington Football Team following that contest.

Speaking to reporters after the loss to the Bears, Judge still managed to heap praises on his 4-12 Giants while also subtly stabbing Washington with his words, saying that New York isn't a team “that's having fistfights on the sidelines” and a “clown show organization”.

But any hint of courage it took for Judge to say those comments have not been felt by the Washington media.

Via JP Finlay of NBCS Washington:

So almost every week opposing NFL coaches do a conference call with local beat reporters. Been going on for decades. And on the week he takes shots at the Washington Football Team, Giants HC Joe Judge has declined the conference call with DC media.

Finlay also added some more context.

Worth noting this is first year the opposing media calls for coaches aren’t mandatory. Plenty of coaches still do the calls. Ron Rivera has done every request. There aren’t requests every week but typically when there’s a storyline to explore

Whatever the case may be, Judge will not be able to hide on Sunday when the Giants play their regular-season finale against the Washington Football Team at home. That's kind of convenient too for Judge that the Giants will play this upcoming game in East Rutherford instead of FedExField.
