New York Jets head coach Adam Gase is making it very clear — the team isn't making changes to its coaching staff.
Following a humiliating 33-0 loss to the New England Patriots at home in front of a national television audience, the first-year Jets coach dismissed a question from a reporter regarding possible changes to the coaching staff.

In may only be Week 7, but at 1-5, the Jets look absolutely miserable and hopeless. That was on full display on Monday when franchise quarterback Sam Darnold took ten steps back with the worst performance of his young pro career. The 22-year-old quarterback had five turnovers — four interceptions and one fumble lost for a safety — and completed just 34.4 percent of his passes for a career-low 86 yards and a quarterback rating of 3.6.

In other words, it was about as bad as possible.
The offensive line was as bad as possible, with Darnold frequently having pass rushers in his grill the entire night. It got so bad, that Darnold admitted seeing “ghosts” during the game, via The New York Post's Brian Costello.
“At one point, an ESPN microphone caught Darnold saying he was seeing “ghosts” after running for his life from a bevy of blitzers that made the Jets offensive line look silly. Darnold looked totally rattled and unable to set his feet as free runners came at him all night.”
While Gase has made it clear that the Jets aren't making coaching changes just yet, the next one may involve him if the offense doesn't show any signs of life moving forward.
