Sam Darnold hasn't performed well to begin the 2020 season and he hasn't had much help from the other members of the New York Jets. On New York's second drive of Sunday's game versus the Indianapolis Colts, Darnold scrambled in the pocket and found one of his wide receivers for an impressive touchdown.

To begin the game, Darnold flashed the bad version of himself, throwing a pick-six to give the Colts an early 7-0 lead. But in response to his early interception, Darnold would drive the Jets down the field and make an incredible play for the touchdown, evading pressure, then finding Braxton Berrios for six.

The former first-round pick of the 2018 NFL Draft has gotten off to a rough start in 2020, albeit he's had a makeshift group of wide receivers to work with. He's also been without Le'Veon Bell since Week 1 due to a hamstring injury.

Given the struggles of New York's entire team, some are wondering if the Jets will consider taking a quarterback in the 2021 NFL Draft — in the event that they end up with a top draft pick. Nevertheless, Darnold is attempting to prove he belongs in the NFL as a starter with his touchdown against the Colts.
