It goes without saying that the 2018 NFL Draft is chalk-full of talent at the quarterback position. Among the notable names at the forefront are USC's Sam Darnold, UCLA's Josh Rosen, and Wyoming's Josh Allen.

However, Michigan's John O'Korn feels he should be added to that list. According to Angelique S. Chengelis of The Detroit News, O'Korn says he is the most ‘NFL-ready' quarterback in this year's draft:

“Honestly, I think I’m the most NFL-ready quarterback in this draft just as far as terminology, and knowing what to do on a day-to-day basis, game-planning,” O’Korn said. “I was part of the game-plan meetings with coach Harbaugh, coach [Pep] Hamilton, the whole staff, coach [Tim] Drevno, all last fall, so just on a day-to-day basis what it takes to be an NFL quarterback, I think I would choose myself over any other guy in this draft in that regard.”

O'Korn's comments are a bit ambitious, to say the least. He was a part-time starter last season at Michicagn and accumulated just two touchdowns and six interceptions. However, it seems he feels that the time he spent under head coach Jim Harbaugh has helped him gain a better grasp of the NFL play-style than his other peers.

While it is true that Harbaugh was once one of the most promising, young coaches in the league, that hardly merits any outrageous claims such as these. Perhaps O'Korn could have been indicating that he is ready to serve as a potential arm for teams looking to add depth to the quarterback position.
