Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray has quite the conundrum on his hands regarding the decision to go to the NFL or MLB. One of the few athletes in history that can sympathize with Murray's situation is Bo Jackson.
One would assume that Jackson would have some words of advice for Murray, However, according to Rustin Dodd of The Athletic, he feels this is a decision that he must come up with on his own:

It is easy to see where Jackson is coming from. Although he may have gone through a similar situation during his playing career, that does not necessarily mean he knows what is best for every other player that attempts to do the same since there are a number of different factors to take into account. It will be on Murray to decide what is best for himself.
Of course, not everyone has taken Jackson's approach. Hall of Famer Deion Sanders was not shy about expressing his opinion when it came to Murray's decision. Sanders made it clear that baseball was the best way to go given all the lucrative opportunities he will have.
Unlike Jackson and Sanders, it appears Murray does not have the option of playing both. Whereas both were position players, the reigning Heisman winner will be playing the most important position on the field. It will be interesting to see which path Murray ultimately chooses when the deadline comes to enter the 2019 NFL Draft.
