Dez Bryant sent a not-so-subtle hint shortly after his release from the Dallas Cowboys that he’d see them twice this year. That indicates that he’s possibly looking to sign with one of the Cowboys’ NFC East rivals: the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Washington Redskins.
But as Mike Jones of USA Today reports, it does not appear that the Redskins have the wide receiver in their sights, at least for the time being.
Lot of Skins fans asking me about Dez. I’m told he’s not on their radar right now.

The Redskins got some disappointing production from their wide receiving corps last season, with no one tallying over 800 receiving yards following the departure of veterans DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon. However, they attempted to address that last month when they signed former Seattle Seahawks wideout Paul Richardson to a big free-agent deal.
Richardson joins a relatively young Redskins receiving corps which also features Josh Doctson and Jamison Crowder. Perhaps the addition of a veteran presence in Bryant can help take some of the pressure off the young wideouts for the upcoming season.
While he's not the elite receiver he once was, Bryant still ended up with 69 catches for 838 yards and six touchdowns last season. Washington likely wouldn’t mind that type of production from one of their receivers for the right price.
Redskins cornerback Josh Norman recently came out and said that Bryant still had a lot left in the tank. Former teammate Orlando Scandrick also decided to head to D.C. after he was cut by the Cowboys. Maybe the two corners can help get Bryant on the front office’s radar and seriously consider bringing him in before some other division rival takes him off the market.
