The year is over for the Philadelphia Eagles is over, but the offseason is quickly approaching. This is a crucial time for this franchise, as the team hopes to continue making improvements. However, it appears Jason Kelce is unsure what his career outlook, as the veteran center could be thinking about retirement.

According to Pro Football Talk, Kelce has yet to make up his mind about his playing status for next year. He's been in the league for quite some time serving as one of the most consistent centers in the NFL. If he were to walk away from the game, the Eagles would have big shoes to fill on their offensive line.

It's a tough decision for any professional athlete to make. Retiring means they can't continue playing the sport they love, but it is also the start of an exciting life outside of sports. The Eagles star center explains where he's at mentally with the offseason approaching, per Pro Football Talk.

“Everybody wants to know, including me. I'm still trying to figure that out. I just think it comes down to, I definitely want to play. It just comes down to whether or not I think I can dedicate myself to doing it the right way and the way it needs to be done. If I can do that, I'll play. If I can't, that will be it,” Eagles center Jason Kelce.

Only time will tell what his decision will be. He's bound to take his time to ensure he makes the correct decision. Regardless, the Eagles seem interested in having Kelce return, as the veteran claims head coach Nick Sirianni offered “two kegs of beer,” for the center to return to Philadelphia.

Keep an eye out on Jason Kelce and the Eagles, as the veteran center should make his decision relatively soon.
