What looked like a busted play from the beginning got about as bad as it could get on Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they attempted a fake field goal pass for kicker Chris Boswell, in which he got absolutely decked by a Cleveland Browns lineman. It was a scary hit that kept Boswell on the ground for quite some time, but he appears to be okay and even a bit humorous about the whole situation.
His reaction on Instagram went slightly viral in a tweet from Tim Benz:
It appears Bozâs sense of humor was uninjured pic.twitter.com/X8pAtHcFv1

In the spirit of the Halloween season, it's fitting that the football world got some funny âspookyâ related content to laugh at, even at Chris Boswell's expense.
Article Continues BelowThe play was not so hilarious for the Steelers themselves, as Boswell had to enter the NFL's concussion protocol as well, meaning that they will have to find a replacement kicker in the meantime as their incumbent starter works through this unexpected head injury.
Last year, when Boswell went down in a game with an injured hip, Pittsburgh was able to rely on Matthew Wright, as he made all 4 field goals and all 7 extra points that he attempted. That earned him a spot on the Jacksonville Jaguars, however, so the Steelers may have to find someone new.
Coincidentally, this is not the first incident that the Steelers have been involved with where a kicker or punter suffers a big blow to the head. Any football fan would remember the brutal kick to the face that Antonio Brown dealt to Browns (surprise, surprise!) punter Spencer Lanning.
Given that AB's return was called back due to the kick, and that Chris Boswell may be forced to miss some time, it's safe to say that the Steelers don't want any more incidents involving the kickers and bodily contact.
