Heading into Week 8 of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have remained without the services of Pro Bowl running back Le'Veon Bell due to his continued holdout.
In light of that situation, his teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster has made light of the situation by stating he bought more than 100 Mega Millions tickets for the $1.5 Billion to help the Steelers bring Bell back, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
JuJu Smith-Schuster bought 100-plus Mega Millions tickets this week. As his interview concluded, he said, "I tried to win it so we could get Le'Veon back. It didn't work."

Following his interview with the media, Smith-Schuster took to social media to touch on the topic once again to further confirm that was the case.
Man @LeVeonBell I did my best for you!!! No luck tho 😭😂 https://t.co/yFmXylmFgm

There isn't any clarity as to when Bell will be back in the fold as there had previously been reports that he would be back on Monday after the Week 7 bye, but that date has come and gone. The chatter around him has now suggested that he will be back after the Oct. 30 trade deadline. At the same time, this may all be speculation as to when he will be back with the team with the only certainty is that he will be with the Steelers to be able to enter the free agent market next offseason.
These comments and actions by Smith-Schuster do suggest that the team highly values his presence and contributions to the team as a key factor offensively. He has proven throughout his career with the Steelers that he is arguably the best running back in the league with the ability to highly impact both the running and passing game.
That said, this is a situation that is out of the Steelers hands with Bell ultimately deciding when he will be back in the fold. In his absence, second-year running back James Conner has provided more than stable production while being one of the primary offensive factors that has pushed them back atop of the AFC North standings.
