Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster left USC a year earlier in order to pursue his NFL dream. However, he apparently made a promise to his mother that he would still go back to school and get his degree.
Smith-Schuster is making good on that promise this offseason, and he’s got the pictures to prove it. For some reason, he decided to spend his first day back in a college classroom wearing a uniform – his actual Steelers uniform.

Smith-Schuster apparently went all in on his gear, from head to toe. He had his helmet on, as well as his pads and cleats. He even had a football and a Terrible Towel to complete the whole Steelers. Of course, the man’s an NFL player right now, so he’s actually wearing what constitutes “professionally dressed” as it applies to him.
Smith-Schuster had quite a first year as a pro as he had 58 catches for 917 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games for the Steelers. With that impressive debut campaign, he’s quickly established himself as the Steelers’ secondary receiving option at wide receiver behind Antonio Brown. If that rookie year is any indication, Smith-Schuster looks set to be a star.
Despite going back to class, it’s pretty clear from Smith-Schuster’s wardrobe choice where his actual priorities lie, and that’s with his actual career. He’ll still need to devote much of his time working out and preparing for next season. Nevertheless, it’s admirable that he’s staying true to his word and fulfilling the promise he made to his mother – and being impeccably dressed while doing so.
