Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell still hasn't reported to the team, but while general manager Kevin Colbert is disappointed the star running back isn't around the team yet, his teammates aren't worried about the absence.
“That's Kevin's job,” defensive lineman Cameron Heyward said, smiling, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “I'm going to be disappointed, but obviously, I would love to have him here. My focus is on this team and who is here. When Le'Veon gets here, he gets here. But until then, let's ride.
Heyward also doesn't think Bell's absence is going to be a distraction. If Bell decides to show up they will welcome him, but if he doesn't show up the team will roll without him.

If he comes on this journey, he comes on this journey. We put him in the backseat, strap him in and be ready to go.”
Bell is scheduled to play under the franchise tag this season worth $14.5 million after a long-term extension wasn't reached. It had been reported that Bell would be reporting on Labor Day, but he quickly denied that report and didn't show up to camp. The team obviously wants him back as quickly as possible, but this Steelers team is a veteran-led group and they seem ready to roll no matter who is in the backfield.
