“Oh, you almost had it!” That's what TJ Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers probably said to the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals, down 10 in the fourth quarter, found themselves driving down the field to cut the Steelers' lead down to one possession. In doing so, they may have been able to rally against a subpar offense.
That didn't happen, not under TJ Watt's watch.
Watt, a pass-rusher for the Steelers, dropped back in coverage on fourth-and-2, read quarterback Kyler Murray and then picked him off. Just like that, Pittsburgh had the ball back and the atmosphere at Statefarm Stadium deflated. Watch below.

Are you telling me that a Steelers pass-rusher dropped back in coverage to intercept a Cardinals quarterback in the end zone? That sounds eerily similar to a moment the Cardinals fans want to forget and one Steelers fans reminisce about daily, probably.
Throwbacks or not, it was a play to halt a rally against an offense capable of scoring points.
