The Seattle Seahawks have scheduled a visit with free agent cornerback Davon House, according to Curtis Crabtree of Pro Football Talk.
House spent the 2018 campaign with the Green Bay Packers, playing in just three games due to a shoulder injury that landed him on the injured reserve list and ultimately required surgery. During the time he was on the field, he logged two tackles.
The 29-year-old, who played his collegiate football at New Mexico State University, was originally selected by the Packers in the fourth round (131st pick overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft.
He appeared in just two contests during his rookie season, and the following year, he participated in nine games, finishing with 26 tackles, a sack, and five passes defended.
House then played in all 16 games in 2013, registering 44 tackles, a sack, an interception, and 10 passes defended.
Article Continues BelowThe Van Nuys, Ca. native spent the first four years of his NFL career in Green Bay, but did not become a full-time starting cornerback until signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency in March 2015.
That ensuing season, House started all 16 contests and totaled 60 tackles, four picks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and 23 passes defended. Overall, House spent two years with the Jaguars before being cut in March 2017.
He then made his way back to the Packers, making 12 starts and recording 44 tackles, a sack, an interception, and six passes defended in 2017.
The Seahawks won 10 games and proceeded to lose to the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs this past season.
