The NFL rumor mill has been going steady, especially with the number of quarterback changes that could come to fruition in the offseason. There is speculation the Seattle Seahawks will trade Russell Wilson, but that has yet to be determined. The front office has made some changes to the coaching staff, which is a nice start for this team to get back into the playoff race.
According to John Clayton, the recent coaching staff hires indicate the Seahawks will not trade Russell Wilson in the upcoming offseason. Clayton makes a strong case pointing out multiple factors as to why Seattle is more likely to keep Wilson, rather than send him away.

They fired offensive line coach Mike Solari and promoted Andy Dickerson to fill the position. They brought back Sanjay Lal to be the passing game coordinator after he spent a season with the (Jacksonville) Jaguars.”
Clayton also divulges the salary cap aspect of trading Russell Wilson. He points out that it doesn't quite make sense for the Seahawks to trade Wilson from a financial aspect. “His cap number for 2022 is $37 million, and the Seahawks would be stuck with $31 million in dead money if they dealt him,” per John Clayton.
Although the rumors will continue to swirl around a potential Russell Wilson trade, it doesn't sound like a feasible task. The Seahawks would be losing a superstar, be put into cap hell, and the replacement quarterback would not be a guarantee to be a success. This is hard to argue against, but we'll see how the offseason plays out.
