The Seattle Seahawks lost their Week 1 assignment against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, 17-9, but it’s understandably an unforgettable day for the Seahawks' rookie defensive tackle Nazair Jones, as he made his pro debut.

The contest became even more memorable for Jones when he picked off a pass from two-time league MVP and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the first quarter. If there wasn't a block in the back, he would've become only the second player to record a pick six off Rodgers.

Unfortunately for Jones, there are some people who managed to belittle him and the outstanding job he did on that particular play, like Fox Sports personality Skip Bayless.

Bayless immediately took to Twitter after Jones’ interception, referring to the North Carolina product as merely an afterthought.

The former Tar Heel, however, didn’t respond with a long message to Bayless’ tweet, instead opting to reply to the post with a “smirking face” emoji. Very millennial!

Bayless isn’t going to stop making takes like that, but it’s good to know that Jones isn’t discouraged by some media personality throwing shade at him either.
