It seems like the Seattle Seahawks are doing everything they can to keep Russell Wilson satisfied. The Seahawks are getting Wilson some offensive line help and acquired Gabe Jackson from the Las vegas Radiers.

Seattle acquired Jackson by trading their 2021 fifth-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders, as first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, tight end Gerald Everett’s signing is an indication that the Seahawks are finding ways to resolve Wilson’s frustrations. Seattle was also reportedly looking at Kevin Zeitler and continues to scout for more established guard options to upgrade the team’s offensive line.

The Seahawks are hoping that these two impactful signings can mend their relationship with Wilson.

The team is determined that they can keep Wilson for the long run despite the latter reportedly being unhappy with his situation in Seattle. The Seahawks did not agree to the offer the Chicago Bears gave them for Wilson. The Bears reportedly offered three first-round draft picks, one third-round pick, and two starters in exchange for the quarterback. The trade didn’t push through which resulted in Andy Dalton signing for the Bears.

The massive deal offered by the Bears that the Seahawks reportedly denied is proof that the team wants to fix Wilson’s situation. The Seahawks lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round last season. With the signings of Everett and Jackson, Seattle is hoping to achieve more than they did this past season.
