Superstar quarterback Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks are a perfect 3-0 after taking care of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. After initially taking down both the Atlanta Falcons and heralded New England Patriots to begin the 2020 regular season, the Seahawks rallied late despite leading most of the way against the Cowboys en route to improving to 3-0.

With Wilson on an absolute tear through the first three weeks of the 2020-21 campaign, he is no doubt the leader in the clubhouse to win the league's MVP award as it stands today. Not only that, though, but Wilson made some history in Week 3 against the Cowboys as he notably became the first player in NFL history to record at least four touchdowns in each of his team's first three games of the season.

Through three weeks, the Seahawks are averaging a whopping 37 points per game as Seattle has scored 38 points twice to book-end a 35-point performance against the Patriots in Week 2. With Wilson already accounting for more than 12 touchdowns before the quarter mark of the regular season, such a pace would most certainly earn him his first league MVP award. However, as it stands today, Wilson has never even earned a single MVP vote during his NFL playing career.

Wilson and the Seahawks edged the Cowboys by the score of 38-31 and now sit in first place in the incredibly competitive NFC West division. The San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals are all 2-1 on the season and trail Seattle by one full game in the divisional standings.
