The Seattle Seahawks have had a rough year as they've played well below expectations. It's been a chaotic atmosphere since the offseason with the trade rumors regarding Russell Wilson. With the franchise facing a potential rebuild, things could get ugly quickly. However, it appears as though Wilson has other plans in mind.
According to Bob Condotta, Russell Wilson hints towards his interest in remaining in Seattle. The Seahawks' quarterback wants to win three more Super Bowls before retiring and isn't ruling out staying with his current team.
Wilson says his goal in his career is to win three more Super Bowls. Asked if he thinks he can do that in Seattle says "I hope so.'' https://t.co/BlCol7U3S3

This would be a big turnaround for the Seahawks and Russell Wilson. However, considering Seattle has multiple holes to fill on the roster along with limited draft picks and cap space, trading their franchise quarterback might be for the best.
That might not be what the fan base wants to hear, but it's the truth. If the Seahawks were to go into a rebuild, there would be multiple changes made to the roster and coaching staff. It would be a long journey for this team to climb back into title contention, considering how far ahead the rest of the NFC West is right now.
Even so, it appears there's a solid chance the Seahawks keep their stars for now. It's not like the offense is dysfunctional, as most of the issues are on the other side of the ball. If Wilson hopes to remain in Seattle, the front office must improve the roster around him. Hopefully, they can restructure a strong offensive line and bring in a hungry group of players to improve the defense.
Keep a close eye on Russell Wilson and the Seahawks throughout the offseason, as they'll be heavily involved in the rumor mill.
