The Seattle Seahawks dropped to 2-1 on the season as a result of the team's Week 3 loss at home to the banged up New Orleans Saints. Despite Seahawks running back Chris Carson still struggling to hold onto the football, which certainly did not help Seattle on Sunday afternoon against the Saints, the heralded NFC West franchise still believes in the up-and-coming rusher so it appears.

There’s a lot of technical stuff that’s really important, right down to the last instant of that play that he fumbled on there’s another thing that he could do to ensure taking care of the ball a little bit longer. He thought he was secure and thought he was taking care of it and bang all of a sudden the ball comes out. That’s life you know. That’s real in the league and all that. He’s going to have to be really on because guys are going to continue to come after him just like anybody would.”
Prior to coming up short against the Saints, the Seahawks defeated both the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers. Through the first three weeks of the 2019-20 regular season, Carson has served as the team's starter in the backfield while fumbling twice. He has now fumbled five times through his first 21 career regular season appearances at the NFL level.
