Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown continues to be hampered by a nagging toe injury over the last couple of weeks.

According to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, Brown missed Thursday's practice because of the ailment.

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown missed Thursday’s practice with his sprained toe.

The 29-year-old suffered the injury against the Green Bay Packers on November 26th, forcing him to miss practice on both Friday and Saturday last week. However, he was able to take the field and put together a strong performance against the Cincinnati Bengals, recording eight catches for 101 receiving yards and a touchdown. It marked his seventh game this season with more than 100 receiving yards.

Brown is putting together another stellar campaign, leading the NFL in catches (88), receiving yards (1,296), and touchdowns (nine). He is on track to finish with 117 receptions, 1,728 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns. It would mark his fifth straight season with at least 105 catches and 1,250 receiving yards.

Over the last few years, Brown has arguably been the best wide receiver in the league, breaking numerous records along the way. During Monday's 23-20 win over the Bengals, he set the record for most receptions by a player in their first eight seasons, surpassing Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison (717). Brown holds the franchise mark with 36 career games with at least 100 receiving yards, and he also surpassed Harrison on Monday for the most receiving yards in any five-year span in NFL history.

If Brown's unable to play against the Ravens, Pittsburgh will have to turn to Martavis Bryant as the primary receiving option with rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster out due to a one-game suspension for the block he made on Vontaze Burfict.
