It will be quite some time before NFL fans forget Antonio Brown's dramatic meltdown at MetLife Stadium during the Week 17 clash between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets. Well, the memory will never truly fade from the minds of football fans, especially when pieces of the historic moment are still floating around. On Monday, ESPN reported that the glove Brown threw into the seats at MetLife Stadium has been put up for auction.

That's right, folks. Whatever lucky fan happened to get a hold of Brown's glove is now trying to turn a profit off of it. The seller listed the product at an auction via Lelands Sports Memorabilia and Card Auctions with a starting bid of $81, Brown's number with the Buccaneers. As of writing, the highest bid on the product sits at $310.

The MetLife meltdown occurred on Jan. 2, 2022, at the start of the second half of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 17 road game against the New York Jets. A frustrated Brown reportedly told Bucs head coach Bruce Arians that he was dealing with an ankle injury, resulting in a dispute between the two. Brown subsequently removed his pads and threw his glove and undershirt into the crowds, before unceremoniously jogging off the field before flashing peace signs in the direction of Jets supporters.

Brown was subsequently released from the team, though the saga is far from over. The former wide receiver is now planning to hit the Bucs with a defamation lawsuit. Brown plans to undergo surgery on his ankle this offseason in hopes of making another NFL comeback in 2022.
