The football world was left in a complete state of shock on Saturday after news hit that Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar quarterback Tom Brady had decided to retire from professional football after an iconic 22-year career. Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans is just one of the myriad of personalities from in and around the NFL that have reacted to Brady's decision and the 28-year-old kept his message short and sweet.

Evans needed just 11 words to express his gratitude towards the GOAT as he honored his big brother and teammate on Twitter:

Evans, who has played his entire career for the Buccaneers, had the honor of sharing the field with Brady during the past two seasons. This resulted in Evans winning his first-ever Super Bowl trophy back in 2021. For Tom Brady, it was his seventh Super Bowl win.

As Evans expressed in his tweet, he feels absolutely privileged to have been given the opportunity to be on the receiving end of more than a few passes from Brady over the past couple of years. Their tenure as Bucs teammates may have been short-lived, but there's no denying that Evans will cherish these past two seasons as some of the best in his career.
