Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski is planning to party hard during the team's Super Bowl boat parade on Wednesday in Tampa.

“Gronk” apparently said he might need to be transported from the scene “on an ambulance,” per ESPN's Jenna Laine. Fittingly, the former All-Pro is downing a cold beverage in the photo Laine snapped.

It hardly comes as a surprise Rob Gronkowski is preparing to celebrate in grand fashion after winning his fourth Super Bowl title this past weekend.

This Super Bowl must have felt especially notable for the Buccaneers tight end after a year away from football. He spent the 2019 season on the sidelines, but showed an interest in returning to the gridiron when Tom Brady signed with the Bucs last spring.

Tampa Bay moved to acquire the 31-year-old from the New England Patriots, reuniting the star tight end with his longtime quarterback. Gronkowski was a key part of Bruce Arians' passing attack, racking up 623 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 13.8 yards per reception. But he saved his best for last.

Rob Gronkowski made his mark in a dominant victory over the favored Kansas City Chiefs, hauling in six catches for 67 yards and a pair of scores. He also set the edge as a blocker in Tampa's stretch-zone running scheme, routinely paving running lanes for Bucs running back Leonard Fournette.

The Buccaneers are finding a different way to celebrate their title so as to avoid possible complications with COVID-19. Hopefully, Gronkowski's boozy boat cruise does not actually land him in a dire situation.
