The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have ushered in some significant changes this offseason. It appears one of their new faces in wide receiver Scott Miller has already started to turn heads in practice.
The Bucs experienced some turnover in their receiving corps with the departure of Adam Humphries and DeSean Jackson this offseason. According to Scott Smith of the team's official website, Miller is looking to potentially replace Humphries in the slot.

There is no question that Tampa Bay lost some serious firepower this offseason. Although Jackson had struggled to find his footing in the offense, his speed still kept the secondary honest over the top.
Article Continues BelowMeanwhile, Humphries is coming off a career year after finishing the 2018 campaign with 76 receptions for 816 yards and five touchdowns. As a result, quarterback James Winston will be forced to find other viable options outside of wide receiver Mike Evans.
It is clear that Miller is making an early case to serve as Humphries' replacement. He was part of the trade deal that sent Jackson to the Philadelphia Eagles while the Bucs took him in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He enjoyed an illustrious career at Bowling Green and will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact in Tampa Bay as well.
Despite their recent changes, the Bucs are still rather optimistic about a potential resurgence in 2019.
