The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were stunningly shut out on Monday Night Football by the New Orleans Saints, but the main talking point from the loss was the multitude of injuries sustained by the offense. In addition to the season-ending injury suffered by star wideout Chris Godwin, the Bucs also lost wide receiver Mike Evans and running back Leonard Fournette to injury in the game.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, neither Evans' nor Fournette's injuries are deemed to be overly serious, and both should be able to get back to action rather quickly.

Evans sustained a hamstring injury in the loss to the Saints, but as Rapoport acknowledges, his injury isn't considered to be serious. As of now, it seems unlikely Evans will miss time with his knock, though that remains to be seen as the week progresses.

Fournette, on the other hand, has a bit more of a serious injury, but he's not expected to miss more than a game or two. Anyone worried about the running back potentially missing the playoffs can breathe a sigh of relief, as there's little to suggest he won't be back in action by then.

On the year, Fournette has 180 carries for 812 yards and eight touchdowns. Additionally, he's caught 69 passes on 84 targets for 454 yards and two scores. Meanwhile, Evans has logged 64 receptions for 899 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2021. As we saw on Sunday night, not having these weapons at his disposal is a huge detriment to Tom Brady, who struggled to produce against the Saints while working with multiple backup options.
