The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed wide receiver Jaydon Mickens and practice squad receiver Cyril Grayson on the reserve/COVID-19 list, per NFL.com.
According to the NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs may not disclose whether the player is in quarantine or not after having been in close contact with an infected person or is positive for COVID-19. However, since the Buccaneers currently have no other players on the COVID-19 reserve list, Mickens and Grayson aren’t on the list due to exposure to a teammate who tested positive.
The team also announced that Mickens would not be traveling to Charlotte for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Although Mickens is listed as a wide receiver, he has served as the team's primary punt and kickoff returner this season. In nine games this season, Mickens has recorded 12 kick returns for 289 yards, with the longest being 34 yards. However, since he won't be traveling with the team on Sunday, the Buccaneers are expected to have Scotty Miller take over as their kick and punt returner.

Nevertheless, after suffering an embarrassing loss to the New Orleans Saints last week, the Buccaneers will be seeking to get back in the win column. The Buccaneers, who currently own a record of 6-3, are the second seed in the NFC South. Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers will be crucial for them, considering they're only half a game behind the top-seeded New Orleans Saints.
