Bruce Arians may not be out of football for very long.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Arians would consider the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head-coaching job, as he has a good deal of respect for Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht.
Oddly enough, the Buccaneers would still need permission from the Arizona Cardinals to interview Arians, as he resigned from his post as Cardinals head coach last year while he still had time left on his contract.
That being said, barring any strange circumstances, it's hard to imagine Cardinals blocking Arians from interviewing with the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay fired Dirk Koetter as head coach after Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons, as the Bucs ended the year with five wins for the second straight season under Koetter's watch.
Koetter had originally taken over as Buccaneers head coach in 2016, leading the team to a respectable 9-7 record during his first season before the wheels came off in 2017 and 2018.

The 66-year-old also served as interim head coach for the Indianapolis Colts in 2012, relieving the ill Chuck Pagano. Arians went 9-3 with the Colts that season, but all of the wins and losses were rewarded to Pagano.
The Buccaneers are in desperate need of something positive, having not made the playoffs since 2007.
