The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to offer a massive contract to free-agent quarterback Tom Brady, in the range of $30 million per year, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
With the #Chargers out of the running, the #Bucs offer to QB Tom Brady is believed to be roughly $30M per year. They are the only known team to make an offer. Tampa Bay has been confident all day and for good reason. As we wait Tom Brady’s officials announcement, all eyes on TB.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported early Tuesday evening that Brady is expected to join the NFC South franchise this offseason, parting from his longtime franchise the New England Patriots, where he won six Super Bowl titles. Yesterday reports surfaced that Brady was out of the door of Foxborough, with multiple teams lining up to offer contracts for the 42-year-old.
Article Continues BelowBrady and the Patriots had a rough end, despite the hagiographies and warm, nostalgic memories of his storied, 20-year career in New England. After dropping a shocker in Week 17 of the 2019 NFL regular season to the division rival Miami Dolphins, the Patriots dropped to playing in the AFC Wild Card Round, losing a first-round bye in the 2019-20 postseason. Brady and the Patriots were upset by Ryan Tannehill and the Tennessee Titans in the wild card. The Titans went on to dethrone No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens in the next round and lose in the AFC conference title game to eventual Super Bow LIV champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Judging Brady's tenure with the Patriots on 2019 alone is dismissive, though, as New England enjoyed likely the greatest dynasty ever with head coach Bill Belichick manning the sidelines and Brady under center for two decades, possessing a stranglehold on the conference.
It will take time getting used to seeing Brady throw the pigskin in a different uniform, as he joins head coach Bruce Arians' offense.
