At age 45, legendary NFL quarterback Peyton Manning is blessing us with his takes on Monday Night Football. At age 44, Tom Brady has just thrown 10 touchdowns in three games as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers try to go back-to-back after their storied Super Bowl season.
Tom Brady isn't slowing down at all, which is why it's no surprise the Buccaneers are reportedly in full agreement to rework their star QB's contract yet again according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, just as they did right after their SB win. Brady has every intention to play “multiple seasons”, which would mean playing to the ripe old age of 46 or 47.

He would have to pay back $15M of signing bonus money if he retired — again, that would be highly surprising — and is set to make $24M next season. Having him play into a lame-duck season is something the team and player would like to avoid, and they were able to quickly negotiate a new deal this past offseason.”
Buccaneers
The Buccaneers have gotten every penny worth of their deal with Tom Brady. Locking him up for as long as he's willing to play seems like a no-brainer at this point.
The Buccaneers are taking on the New England Patriots in Week 4 of the NFL season, the latest Sunday Night Football showcase. Tom Brady returns to Foxborough to take on the team he led to six Super Bowl championships. Brady will go up against Bill Belichick, the man who teamed with him to form the most successful quarterback-coach combination in the history of the NFL. Joe Montana and Bill Walsh were great (three Super Bowls), and Chuck Noll and Terry Bradshaw were even greater (four Super Bowls), but Brady and Belichick are number one.
