The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered the halftime break of Super Bowl 55 with a 21-6 lead over the defending champs, the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and Co. have an uphill task in the second half as they try to mount a come-from-behind victory over Tom Brady and the Bucs.

Fortunately for the Chiefs, they have this particular Patrick Mahomes stat to back up their comeback bid (h/t ESPN Stats & Info on Twitter):

The good news for Kansas City is that Mahomes has been in this situation in the past, and on most occasions, he was still able to will his side to a comeback win. Mahomes is as good as they come, and if there's any quarterback in the league that you'd expect to come up with this type of heroics in the biggest game of the season, then it has to be him.

As the tweet above notes, however, there is only one other player in the history of the sport that surpasses Mahomes in this particular category. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, that man is Tom Brady, who's already had an outstanding first-half performance for the Bucs. The three-time league MVP came into this one with one thing in mind, and he's proven that he will do everything in his power to win his seventh Super Bowl crown.

The individual battle between Mahomes and Brady has lived up to all the hype thus far, which perfectly sets up what should be an epic second half.
