The moment Rob Gronkowski announced his NFL retirement, speculation emerged that he would be back in football before long. His agent Drew Rosenhaus did nothing to quell those conversations, and now it seems that his girlfriend Camille Kostek isn't fully convinced his playing days are over, either. In a recent interview, Kostek admitted that she wouldn't be surprised if Gronkowski suited up in the league at least one more time.
“I am an honest lady, and honestly, I don’t feel like this one is the forever one,” Kostek said, via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. “So, I think maybe he’ll come back again. I feel like him and Tom [Brady] are just having fun, like, ‘retired, not retired, retired, not retired.'”
That's a bombshell that will certainly have Buccaneers fans fired up. Whether there's any truth behind Kostek's comments remains to be seen, but someone who knows Gronk better than practically anyone is casting doubts over whether the 33-year-old is officially retiring from football.

Of course, the ultimate decision on whether he returns to football will be Gronkowski's and his alone. He's repeatedly said that he's done with football for good, preferring to move forth with his new business ventures.
Perhaps Kostek sees something even Gronk himself can't yet detect, or perhaps the tight end is truly ready for the next chapter of his life. Regardless, this is a situation that doesn't feel like it's going away just yet. If the Buccaneers hit a cold spell in the middle of the season, rumors of a resurgence from Gronk are almost certain to emerge.
Coming from his longtime girlfriend, she thinks there's at least a chance NFL fans will see Rob Gronkowski back on the gridiron.
