Skip Bayless actually likes somebody, and that's perhaps press-worthy in and of itself. The sports commentator took time out of his day in between complaining about new Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and comparing every other NFL head coach to him (and, apparently, letting us all know that everyone else is Tom Landry in the Cowboys' prime compared to LaFleur) to let the Tampa Bay Buccaneers know that they made a good choice with hiring Bruce Arians as head coach.
What an upgrade for Tampa Bay: Arians to run the team and offense, Todd Bowles to coordinate the defense. Home run hires. Beware Bucs next year.

The comments in response to this profound proclamation suggest that, for the first time in history, the majority of football fans agree with Skip Bayless.
To be fair, one would be hard-pressed to find a commentator, fan, or football professional that doesn't agree with the Buccaneers hiring of Arians as head coach. Arians' deal is a four-year deal with a fifth-year option and will involve some personnel shifts before it takes full effect.
Article Continues BelowThese personnel shifts come as a result of the Cardinals — from which Arians retired in 2017, after concerns about his health were raised — choosing to continue to hold onto Arians' rights. (Bruce Arians was originally contracted with the Cardinals until 2019.)
To offset this late-round muck-up, the teams agreed to swap their sixth and seventh-round picks in exchange for the Bucs getting the rights to Arians. Additionally, former New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles — who was fired after the team's three-year-straight loss — will reportedly join Arians in Tampa Bay as the defensive coach.
Bruce Arians announced his excitement about joining the Bucs in a Tweet.
