The Tennessee Titans and Mike Vrabel defeated the New England Patriots and Tom Brady in the playoffs.

The Titans have grown despite being under the direction of Vrabel for only two seasons. After producing a 9-7 regular season effort in his first go-round at the helm in Tennessee, Vrabel not only won another nine regular season games in 2019 but then led the sixth-seeded Titans to the AFC Championship Game.

Now considered to be one of the most dangerous teams in the entire AFC let alone the AFC South division, Vrabel and the Titans may have their sights set on bringing in one last piece of the puzzle this offseason.

Even with former Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill presumably slated to return to the Titans next season, it also appears as though the surging AFC South franchise has its eye on Tom Brady, the current New England Patriots quarterback and soon-to-be free agent.

However, Vrabel wouldn't give anything up about Brady when the Titans coach recently spoke to members of the media at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.

Of course, Vrabel is referring to his perfect 2-0 record against Brady and the Patriots since taking over the Titans head coach two seasons ago.

The Vrabel-led Titans initially beat the Patriots at home in Nashville during his first season as the team's head coach before taking down Brady and the No. 2 seeded Patriots in this year's playoffs — at Gillette Stadium no less.

Regardless of who is under center for the Titans come September, Tennessee remains primed to serve as one of the top teams in the AFC once again in 2020.
