It is no secret that the Tennessee Titans are currently interested in potentially acquiring longtime Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones. Even with the trio of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, running back Derrick Henry and wide receiver A.J. Brown still in place ahead of 2021-22, the Titans did lose the services of wide receiver Corey Davis and tight end Jonnu Smith this offseason, something that simply cannot go unnoticed as Tennessee looks to defend its AFC South title.

While all of the chatter surrounding Jones to Nashville remains nothing more than rumors and speculation, the aforementioned Brown is doing his absolute best to make sure that his idol ultimately makes his way from the Falcons to the Titans. On Tuesday, Brown posted a message that he recently sent to Jones via Instagram — in addition to capturing a message that he previously sent to the Falcons standout prior to being selected by the Titans back in 2019.

Obviously there is a connection between Jones and Henry, who both attended the famed University of Alabama during their collegiate playing days, while the two were even seen working out together this offseason. Not only that, but Brown has frequently lauded Jones and even sported his Falcons jersey while warming up for the Titans last season.

Adding to the likelihood that Jones eventually ends up with the Titans, Tennessee has produced a winning season five years in a row and will enter 2021-22 as the defending AFC South Champions. A team that is only really missing a few key pieces of the puzzle could no doubt use a player like Jones as the Titans are just three seasons removed from an appearance in the AFC Championship Game as well.
