As it stands today, the Tennessee Titans own the No. 29 overall pick in the first round of the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. With many pundits and experts beginning to predict that Tennessee may very well select a cornerback with such a pick, Titans general manager Jon Robinson might have just sunk right into this scenario even further.

However, if the Titans do ultimately pick a cornerback in the first round on Thursday evening, that could mean that veteran cornerback Adoree' Jackson plays a bit of a different role next season. Of course, the Titans also employ former New England Patriots cornerback and Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler to play alongside Jackson while adding a third to complete the trio seems like a very likely possibility for Tennessee.

It is also worth noting that the Titans previously formed a trio with Jackson, Butler, and Logan Ryan, who remains an unrestricted free agent. If the Titans are not able to solidify this position by way of the early portion of the 2020 NFL Draft, perhaps bringing Ryan back on a free agent contract will eventually materialize.

The Titans do have some additional talent in-house, however, as the team officially re-signed another cornerback in Tye Smith on Tuesday afternoon. Not only that, but the team previously selected former Iowa Hawkeyes defensive back Amani Hooker in the fourth round of last year's NFL Draft as the former collegiate standout can play both safety and nickel cornerback.

Lastly, Tennessee will also presumably have the option of bringing another familiar face back into the fold as a veteran cornerback in Tramaine Brock remains a free agent as well after spending the back-end of last season with the Titans.
