The Tennessee Titans sit atop the AFC standings at 8-2, but are in a tough spot Sunday after they ruled out seven players for this weekend's game.

The missing players include starting right guard Nate Davis, linebackers Bud Dupree and Rashaan Evans, and backup running back Jeremy McNichols, among a few others.

Tennessee has been playing without Dupree and Evans since their Week 8 overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts. However, their defense has not missed a beat.

The last couple of weeks, the Titans defense has played extremely well, limiting the high voltage Los Angeles Rams offense to 16 points and the New Orleans Saints to 21. They have been especially physical at the line of scrimmage.

The season was thought to have been lost when All Pro running back Derrick Henry went down with a season ending foot injury.

The team quickly signed future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson. They also signed D'Onta Foreman. With McNichols ruled out Sunday, look for both Peterson and Foreman to get plenty of work this weekend. Peterson has looked a step slow, even behind the powerful Titans offensive line.

Thankfully for the Titans, they play the Houston Texans in Week 11. The Texans might be the worst team in the NFL and are certainly one of the worst defensively. Houston ranks 31st against the run, allowing over 136 yards per game on the ground.

Even an old Peterson and underperforming Foreman behind a banged up offensive line should be able to move the ball against the Texans.
