The Tennessee Titans were hoping Julio Jones could help the offense reach new heights in 2021 after acquiring the veteran wideout in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons. That has been far from the case, however, as Jones has spent more time battling injury than actually contributing on the field. His latest setback saw him placed on the COVID-19/Reserve list, but it seems he should be ready to return for the regular-season finale on Sunday. According to Field Yates, the Titans activated Jones from the COVID-19 list on Monday.

Even with Jones being marred by injury, the Titans were able to win the AFC South division with an 11-5 record. They'll travel to Houston for a matchup with the rival Texans to close out their season, where hopefully Jones can make a big impact before the team's playoff run.

This year, Jones has featured in nine games for the Titans, though he's struggled to stay on the field for long periods at a time. He's missed a total of seven games this season, and of the nine games he did partake in, there were three games in which he played less than 50% of Tennessee's offensive snaps, due to various ailments.

When actually on the field, the results for Jones have been subpar. He's hauled in 26 receptions for 376 yards and is on the verge of going an entire season without a receiving touchdown for the first time in his career. After having played in Weeks 14,15, and 16, Jones was inactive for Week 17 due to his positive COVID test.

With the season set to wrap up, Jones will look to put his past struggles behind him and contribute for the Titans as they pursue a deep playoff run.
